What is my student record?
Your student record contains all information from the Admission Application process, from Financial Aid (if any), from Student Accounts, and, of course, all academic information about you as a student. Ranging from the courses you took and their grades to communication with Deans' Offices, to petitions and degree applications, and transcripts from other schools you may have attended. In short, your entire academic career at LMU.
Who can access my student record?
Once at LMU, ownership of the record passes from the parents and/or guardians directly to the student. The security of student records is a concern for the entire LMU Community. Please take the time to acquaint yourself with the role all of us have in understanding the need for and protecting the right of the student to confidentiality of records.
